The people who have seen Dragon Ball, I am not one of them, will probably know who this is. The is Master Roshi. As I said, I am not a fan of Dragon Ball, I have never seen it. But Alex does. I came across this model in the Lychee Library and thought: "Yes, he is gonna like this one!" So I let Alex print is and after that I started painting him. In the mean while I was thinking about how to make a cool base. Alex gave me some information about Master Roshi and I came with the idea to make his Island on the base. Use some epoxy resin, little house, some palm trees, rocks, sand... yeahhh. For some reason that's how I work. I start making something and only then the ideas come floating in. No sooner then that. But that's fine, as long as the end result looks cool!

The model is from the maker "Daimasculpts".

The total height of the statue is 13 cm

And it took me about 2 to 3 weeks to paint it and make the base. Besides my own work, of course.

One of the games I love to play is Baldur's Gate 3. Now you probably thinking, what does this owl have to do with? Well, the night before we played a long session. And for the people who know the game. There is a part where you can get a baby owlbear in your camp. I wasn't sure if it was possible. But when it happened, I was so happy and excited! I immediately called the owlbear cub "Snuggles". And when I decided to paint this little owl the day after. I wanted it to look a bit like Snuggles. And give the whole gamesetup the same colours of mine. Even the headset with the pink ears looks like the one I have. And ofcourse a can of Monster Energy. To sum it up. This little statue represents me and the Baldur's Gate session we had the night before.

The model is from the maker "Epics N Stuffs".

The total height of the statue is 6 cm

And I painted this little figure in 1 day.

World War 2 Soldiers

A colleague of mine asked me if I wanted to make a figurine of a German World War II soldier. His son is a huge fan of military and war gear, and a big collector. That's why I'm really looking forward to this project. I wanted to create a super cool figurine for his collection. But I was also nervous. Because I'd never painted a realistic human face before. And I also knew that painting eyes wasn't my strong suit. But if you don't try, you'll never learn. And I must say, I was surprised and proud of how well it turned out! Not just the soldier's face. But the entire statue. I'm incredibly proud of what I've accomplished. My colleague and his son were also impressed and very happy with it.

The model is from the maker "Artejaol".

The total height of the statue is 20 cm.
It took about 28 hours to print the statue.
And it took me about 2 to 3 weeks to paint it and make the base. Besides my own work, of course.
