MY GEAR
Every physical artwork on this website is the result of a careful, multi-step process combining digital design, high-precision 3D printing, and traditional crafting. To give you a closer look at how I bring my projects to life, I’ve gathered my complete toolkit below. These are the core machines, software, and art supplies that I personally use and recommend. Explore the workflow that shapes my art from start to finish!
Slicer
Before any digital design can become a physical reality on my 3D printer, it has to pass through Lychee Slicer. This software is the essential digital bridge of my artistic process.
Think of it as the translator that prepares my 3D models and gives the printer exact, layer-by-layer instructions. Lychee Slicer allows me to rotate my artwork, build necessary supports for complex shapes, and ensure that every microscopic detail prints flawlessly. It is incredibly intuitive yet incredibly powerful, making the transition from a digital file to a tangible piece of art smooth and efficient. Without it, my ideas would stay trapped in the computer!
Since digital sculpting is not my strength, the Lychee Library is an absolute lifesaver for my artistic process. Instead of building models from scratch, this platform gives me direct access to an incredible collection of high-quality 3D designs crafted by talented creators worldwide. Once I find the perfect design, I import it into the slicer and add all the supports myself to guarantee a perfect print. It is the perfect resource that allows me to create beautiful physical art without needing to be a digital 3D modeler myself.
If you want to experience the same precision and workflow for your own 3D prints, you can download the software directly and even try out a 30-day free trial of their premium features!

Printer
Many of the physical artworks you see on this website begin with a digital process. To flawlessly bring intricate details and complex shapes into the physical world, I use the ELEGOO Mars 4 Max.
This is an advanced resin 3D printer that uses liquid polymer. Thanks to its razor-sharp 6K monochrome LCD screen, I can capture textures and details that are almost invisible to the naked eye. Whether I am making delicate components for sculptures or clean base shapes for my projects, this machine brings my digital concepts to life with extreme precision. It is the perfect bridge between my digital designs and physical art!
⚠️ Safety: I always ensure my studio is well-ventilated before starting a print.
Resin
A high-end printer needs high-quality material to feed it. To ensure my physical art is both incredibly detailed and durable, I use Phrozen Standard ABS-Like Resin.
This specific resin formula offers exceptionally low shrinkage during the printing process, allowing me to capture high-resolution details with maximum precision. Unlike standard resins that can be very brittle, the ABS-like properties make the final printed parts tough and resilient. This means the finished sculptures can definitely take a bump—which is an absolute lifesaver for me, since I can be pretty clumsy in the studio! Thanks to its smooth, matte finish, it creates the perfect, shatter-resistant canvas for painting later on.
⚠️ Safety: I always wear nitrile gloves and a mask when handling liquid resin.
Wash Station
Printing a resin model is only half the battle; the post-processing phase is where the real quality is secured. To ensure my art comes out perfectly spotless, I use the Anycubic Wash & Cure 3.
While this machine can do both, I currently use it strictly as my dedicated washing station. It features an automated alcohol bath that deeply and thoroughly cleans all the leftover liquid resin from the most intricate cracks and crevices of my models. This automated washing process keeps my workflow clean and guarantees that none of the fine details on my artwork are lost before the final curing step.
⚠️ Safety: Alcohol is highly flammable; I keep this station away from heat.
Cure Station
Once my prints are completely clean, they move on to the final and most crucial step: curing. Because my creative projects grew and required much more space, I added the SUNLU RC-2 (2nd Generation) to my studio alongside my previous Anycubic station, specifically because I needed a much larger curing setup.
With its extra-large capacity and powerful 42W UV light setup, this machine allows me to easily cure much bigger and more complex sculptures that wouldn't fit elsewhere. Its 360° light distribution and quick-drying system ensure that every single detail is evenly hardened. This turns delicate prints into rock-solid, durable pieces of physical art that are fully finished and built to last!
Paint
Once the sculptures are fully cured and rock-solid, it’s time to bring them to life with color. For my painting process, I rely heavily on The Army Painter range.
Their paint formulas feature incredibly heavy pigmentation and smooth coverage, making them perfect for both rich base layers and fine traditional brushwork. Whether I am building up realistic skin tones, creating deep shadows with their famous washes, or adding weathering effects, this system allows me to achieve a fantastic, durable finish that really makes every 3D-printed detail pop.
Textures for Dioramas
A great piece of art deserves a great presentation, and for my sculptures, that means creating highly detailed bases. To ground my figures in realistic environments, I use AK Interactive Diorama Textures.
These high-quality acrylic pastes are a staple in my workshop for recreating anything from gritty asphalt and muddy terrain to dry desert sand and wet ground. They apply smoothly, dry with an authentic texture, and give me a realistic foundation to mount my prints on. Adding these environmental details brings a cinematic, storytelling quality to my artwork, ensuring that the base is just as captivating as the sculpture itself!
Airbrush
To elevate the paintwork and blend the miniature paints and textured base work together seamlessly, I use the Harder & Steenbeck Ultra 2024 airbrush.
This completely redesigned airbrush is a massive game-changer for finishing my sculptures. It features a smart double-action air system with a pre-set needle limiter, which helps me control the paint flow perfectly without accidental splatters. Combined with a newly engineered 0.45mm needle set and an innovative air cap that prevents paint from drying at the tip, it allows me to effortlessly apply incredibly smooth gradients, soft shadows, and broad base coatings. It is the ultimate tool for giving my physical art pieces a professional, gallery-ready finish.
